Including log from the new Fedora VM w/ new add-ons here. Performance is the same - sluggish when dragging windows, worse than VBox 5.0.x.

I just installed the newest version of Fedora (29), uninstalled the guest add-ons it came with, and installed the ones from 6.0.4. How does it make it fragile? Will losing any of the snapshots cause the VM to stop working? They probably aren't causing your problem but each one makes the guest that much more fragile. > This looks like you have lots of snapshots.

I normally run with 2 cores but increased to 6 today to try to improve UI performance. VirtualBox is an application running on the host and so by assigning all the cores to the guest you run the risk of starving the host. > You have assigned all of the host CPU cores (the thing VirtualBox cares about) to the guest.
VIRTUALBOX MAC EMULATOR SLOW UPDATE
This VM is Kubuntu 14 and if I update to guest addons 6.0 KDE no longer starts. If you are trying to run VirtualBox v6.0.04 you should update these so that they match. This looks like you have lots of snapshots.

VIRTUALBOX MAC EMULATOR SLOW SOFTWARE
Most of the techniques described here will also work with other virtualization software like VirtualBox. Allocating all your RAM actually makes the whole host and VM run slow.
VIRTUALBOX MAC EMULATOR SLOW HOW TO
This tutorial shows how to accelerate the Android App development using virtual devices by replacing the slow Android emulator with faster VMWare. Maybe try a VirtualBox Manager version earlier than that release Edit: Also, Im assuming youve got more than half, but not more than 3/4 of your RAM allocated to the VM.
